CONCEPT
The aim of such installation derives from the need to deploy an instrument that will stand as a symbol of Paphos and will contribute to its identity, image and future goals.
To begin with we set as general rule some basic needs which are the development of an alternative experience through which to enhance and present the remarkable existing elements of Paphos which are the view, the sea, the harbour and the Castle. We intended to create something that will provoke the public.
We aimed at something structural and simple, almost banal the simplicity of which will allow us to incorporate the various design values trough other design means like projection, materiality and transparency of the various volumes.
The ultimate intention of the project is the establishment of it as a symbol of cultural importance which will contribute to the future cultural and historical memory of the town of Paphos.
